Tx = Generally surgical intervention + antibiotics

Presentation: Pain of proportion, severe edema, ecchymosis, bullae, crepitus
Diagnosis: Maintain high clinical suspicion, look for free air on xray/CT
Treatment: Emergent Surgical Evaluation, IV fluid resusitation, IV antibiotics (Vancomycin + meropenam OR Piperacilin/tazobactam. PLUS Clindamycin to prevent toxin synthesis.
